8 Dollar Canyon Locomotives

Stock that may be seen on 8 Dollar Canyon Layout

8 Dollar Canyon is a club layout that predominantly reflects the majority contributions of Graham Broad and Eric Cains. Additional stock is provided by Tom Nicholls and other club members, from time to time. The feel of the 'line' or 'pike' is one of predominantly freight, with passing & occasional passenger stock in the 1960s to, but only touching upon the 1980s.
Stock on club layouts is almost always owned by the private member and kept by them but illustrated here to give viewers an idea of what may be seen on the layout at open days and exhibitions.
Graham Broad (Southern Pacific)
As is well known to ESPEE modellers, SP locos were given, at least during the 1960s and 1970s, a range of very individual features, not just the usual features to provide protection from cold but curious clusters of home grown locomotive lights! Graham has been modelling the SP for a number of years and has applied many of these individualised details to the locos.
